Sitting on a rock

Today we went and walked around the river.. it was fun and long. As we were walking Kaytlin saw this big rock and asked if she could sit on it. Being the mom I am I said sure if I can take your pictures. She gave me the long drawn out OK if you must attitude. I think they turned out pretty cute... too bad my camera died or we could have taken more. lol

I don't know how many times that she has been told to NOT pick her nose but she still does it!! And low and behold just as I get ready to take her picture what does she do... That's right PICKS HER NOSE. But minus that doesn't she look cute in her sun glasses.

Kaytlin Missing her DADDY

So after swimming Kaytlin came in and got her blanket and just laid down. So I asked her what was wrong and she said "I just miss my daddy". This A.T. has been really hard on the kids. It is really sad because at night they have a picture of him in their room and they both kiss it good night. Gracie wakes up every morning asking for him.. so they will be really excited to see him.

So Gracie got this backpack from the book club I joined. And she LOVES it. She is always putting her toys and books in there. And today I asked her if she was ready for school and she said "YEAH", she is so different from Kaytlin in EVERY WAY!!

Swimming

We finally got to put up the swimming pool yesterday. We have a really big nice swimming pool that we bought last year.. but the only catch to it is it cant have to much water in it or my kids wont play in it. So I got a smaller one that I am going to put up tomorrow. But they still had fun. That is Kaytlins new favorite thing to do!!

The start of summer

So this past weekend I was supposed to meet up with a lady to get the girls'... and well she NEVER showed. But that is ok! When I went to Utah last time Jake bought me a really nice camera that I take everywhere so I was able to get a few good pictures of the girls. Here are my most favorite. ones. I can't believe how much they have grown up.

Summer is Finally here

Now that it is finally getting warm outside again, we have been able to go out and enjoy life. This past week we were able to go to the zoo, the park and the river. It has been so nice. The Zoo was a lot of fun. There are a lot of babies, which is always my favorite time to go. The park has been fun too. It is so much fun to watch as our kids grow up.
KAYTLIN really loves to climb up everything. And she is very good at it too. She really does love to active.
GRACIE thinks she can do anything, and that she wont get hurt. She goes at everything full force. Never stopping to check around her. Her favorite thing to do at the park is to go down the slide on her tummy. It really fun to watch.
Then watching them both at the river as we feed the ducks.. really makes me proud of my kids. There was a hurt duck up on the grass and watching them talk to it and try to comfort it (from a distance) makes me feel like I am doing the right thing. It makes me happy to see my kids acting like I would if it were them hurt!! Makes me very PROUD!!
