We were over at Jake's parents house this past weekend to help them put in their new patio door!! I was able to get this cute pictures of the girls playing on one of Papas boats!! They can sure get along really well sometimes! They are like two peas in a pod! Always doing something together!!
Kaytlin loves to blow bubbles! I think that is her most favorite part of summer. I have already spent at least $20 on bubbles and $10 on chalk! It sure does disappear pretty fast!
Gracie thinks it is fun to walk her babies outside with the stroller! She sure is growing up really fast. Its hard to believe that she will be two next month!
We were waiting on Jake while he was in a store, and I was playing with my new camera and I happened to look back at Kaytlin at just the right time because she had on Jake's sun glasses. I think she looks so adorable in them!
Gracie was not to happy about having to sit in the hot truck while daddy was in the store and as I went to take the picture she started to tell me "NO". But I did it anyway!! She can be such a stinker sometimes!!
Here are the girls right before we went down to the hotels swimming pool. All I heard for two days before we left was how much they wanted to go swimming. Go we went out got new swimming suits and toys. We get down to the pool area and NEITHER one of them wanted to go swimming. But of course being the parents we are, we wanted them to get the full effect of the hotel so we made them get it with us. And after a little bit and showing them they did not have to go under water and enjoyed it! All Kaytlin has asked about since we have been home is if she can go swimming so I guess next time we will see if she will actually get in on her own!
I think that Kaytlin really like having her pictures taken (maybe because we did it so much when she was a baby). She does so cute. I really like the picture of her holding the American flag. I think it turned out cute. Daddy would be proud!!
It was such a nice day out yesterday.. that I thought I would take some pictures of the girls outside. We had a BLAST. And yes after I took lots of pictures of them then I took them to the zoo and the park!!
So after we left the zoo we went over to the park for a couple of minutes. We had a lot of fun. Kaytlin was excited because there were so many slides. Every time that I went to take a picture of her coming down the slide like Gracie all I got was a shirt or the top of her head. She was just way to fast for me. But I did get a few of Gracie and I think this is my most favorite!! She really liked going down the slide. It took a couple of times of her doing it for her to do it the right way (on her bum instead of her tummy). But I still think that is her favorite way of going down, because she only went down on her bum once!!
I was finally able to get some pictures of the girls on the statues that they have at the zoo because they were not hot!! I think they turned out really cute.
It was such a nice day today that we decided to go to the zoo. I am very glad that we did. All the animals were out, and so active. Kaytlin really enjoys going to see the "animals" and I think that Gracie is getting into it as well. While we were there we went to the kids petting zoo and the girls got to feed the goats. At first Kaytlin was kinda scared to do it, but once she saw Gracie doing it (right out of her HAND!!) Kaytlin got in to it also. Every time the goats would talk food out of Gracie's hand she would giggle. I wish I could have taken pictures of them feeding the goats but I had to make sure things were not getting out of hand!!
So Kaytlin actually went to bed.. and I was able to get a cute picture of her. And no she is not in a crib she got a daybed!! :)
OK so I love taking pictures of my kids when they are in bed sleeping. Well when I went in there Gracie was wide awake so I could not resist taking her picture... she is so funny.
It was a really nice day outside so we thought we would play outside. We spent the majority of the afternoon in the back yard and so I thought I would take a couple of pictures. These ones were my favorite because they are actually playing nice with each other. Kaytlin really hates it when Gracie takes a nap because she is all alone so I think she really enjoys having Gracie out there with her. Playing with chalk is there most favorite thing to play with outside. Well that and bubbles. But Kaytlin thinks instead of blowing the bubbles that it would be fun to wash her bike with and Gracie loves to blow them as long as you dip the stick in the bubbles for her. Gracie does not like to get to dirty. Its really funny. She reminds me so much of Kaytlin at this age!
