The slip in slide

For the fourth we went out to a friends house who had lots of fun stuff to play with. While all the big "kids" were playing on it Kaytlin and Gracie decided they wanted to play in the puddles that were left on the slip in slide. They had a lot of fun in them. The little thugs that amuse us.

Waiting for the parade

While we sat and waited for the parade I took some pictures of the girls and daddy... The girls have really loved having Jake home. I don't know what they are going to do if he has to start to travel again. But while he is here we will love every moment together. By the way... the parade was fun. But not the best we have seen by far!! :)

Hair pieces

Every year I buy the girls outfits for the 4th. Well this year I even bought them little hair pieces. I thought they looked really cute in them even at 7 am them looked cute!! They did not last long in their hair though. They didn't even wear them at the parade.. but that is OK!!

Pre 4th of July

So Jake and I really love the forth... and start to celebrate a day early. Well we were out one evening lighting off fireworks and the neighborhood kids decided to come watch as you can see in the background pictures. Gracie was really into the fireworks.. which really made Jake happy because Kaytlin has never really liked them. And then this year she decided that they were cool and now she loves them. She keeps asking Jake if we can go buy more fireworks. Its so cute! I must say this has been one of the best fourths that we have spent together!!

Our new puppy

So we got a new Kaytlin a new puppy. OK well it is for the whole family but mainly for Kaytlin... She is completely 100% potty trained. She has not worn a pull up to bed in almost two weeks!! We are so proud of her. So "Lucky" was bought to show her that. Way to go bugga we love you!

The other day we decided to put Kaytlin and Gracie in dresses and take them out front and take pictures of them. I really love doing this.. I just wish I were a little better at it. They both seem like they are starting to get a little more into it. Which makes me happy!!

So the other day we turned on the sprinkler for Kaytlin because our pool had a hole in it. And my my amazement she actually liked it. She played with her pool toys, and actually ran threw it.!!
