Birthday Cake

And last her Very Cute birthday cake!! I had this cake made at Wal*Mart and I just love it! It turned out really cute I think. They did kind of over load the frosting though. I don't think anyone was able to eat all of theirs. That and Jake cut them so BIG! We all had a bit of sugar highs... Gracie actually blew out her own candle this year. I thought it was really cute. I think she had a fun day all together!!

Opening presents

Gracie got lots of fun little toys this year for her birthday. I felt bad for the other kids because they wanted to open presents too. Gracie being the sweetie she is tried to share with the other kids.. but their parents did not want them to open them. But anyway it was a lot of fun. I have to do two different sections of these because there were so many cute ones!!

More Birthday pictures

Papa was having fun putting all the balloons on the ceiling! The grand kids thought it was really cool. I was trying to get a picture of everyone that was there and Clarence decided he didn't want that so he stuck up his hand!

Gracie's 2nd Birthday

All of these pictures I took before everyone started to arrive. I had to wake Gracie up from her nap.. which made her very mad. But she soon got over it! She got her cute little crown for Toys "R" Us. I think it was really cute.

For her party theme we had a Luau, so it was kind of fun! When I bought that palm tree I did not realize that you had to put a weight on the bottom to keep it standing up.. but oh well Gracie and all the kids liked it anyway!

The Girls and Great Grandpa

Sorry these are not the best pictures in the world, but I did try. We don't get to see Jake's Grandparents very often so when we do I try and get pictures of my kids with them. Well this time I was only able to get them with great grandpa. They sure did love seeing them! Finally they are not scared of them!

My sister-in-law Jenny, graduated College this past Tuesday.!! (Way to go!!) We were unable to get good ones of her getting her diploma. (Hopefully you did Laura!!) But I was able to get some really cute shots after the fact!!

Kodak Moment

At Jenny's graduation Travis actually got to hold Gracie. This is really not normal for Gracie to be this nice to Travis so I had to take pictures of it! Travis was kind of nervous to Gracie on his shoulders, but that is how her daddy always carries her so she really wanted it! And being the AWESOME uncle he is he put her up there!! Thanks Travis your so great!

Zoo Animals

We went to the zoo again today! It was a lot of fun. We always enjoy going. Not as many of the animals were out today, which was kinda boring but it was still fun. Instead of taking pictures of the kids like I did last time I took pictures of some of the animals.. and I couldn't pick just one because I liked most of them so I did five of my most favorite!! I was really excited because today the snow leopard was out (well both of them were) and that was a first for me. So I took their picture I know it is not the best because there are bars in my way but it is still good.

Feeding the ducks

We went to the river today and fed the ducks! It was a lot of fun. Kaytlin and Gracie both love to feed the ducks. There is never a dull moment when we do, they really get into it. Gracie is really good at throwing a whole piece of bread and if the ducks don't come and get it then she tries to chase them! Kaytlin does not like to be bothered when she is feeding the ducks. She talks to them and even tries to feed them out offer hand like "Mommy and Daddy" but she always gets scared at the last minute. Gracie thinks it is really funny when they eat out of your hand, it does not bother her at all.

Today the ducks were really aggressive. Especially in the water. There were these to little ducks that did not want to share with each other. At one point one of the ducks and the other duck by the backside and held on for a good two minutes. I felt bad for the little guy, he kept putting his bottom into the water after the other one let go. Maybe it made it feel better, I am not sure but it was funny to watch.

Gracie asleep

Today we had a busy day, so Gracie was unable to have a nap. Well after dinner I was talking to Jake on the phone. Well Gracie got up and went to her room.. I thought she was just playing, but it was to quiet so I went in there. And to my surprise I found her in her bed covered up and passed out cold. She was only in there a good five minutes before I went in there. One way I knew she was really tired I vacuumed my office (just did that today) and I used Jake's drill and not once did she ever moved from that spot.!!
